A recent report by the Office of the UN High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) expose that out of every 122 people on the planet is a refugee, seeking asylum, or internally displaced. 1 out of 122 people in this planet. Imagine that.

Well you know what - stop imagining because it is real  -  this is the physical reality we live in.

While the majority of this world forced into a life of war, abuse and constant fear, us, the minority, we strive for personal success, for more money, better social status, better cars, housing and so forth. Seldom do we really consider other people; rarely we take a moment to critically thing about the current world situation and how each of us is individually responsible for the world we live in today.

You may ask yourself - "why am I responsible? I don't make the laws". Are you sure? Aren't we voting every couple of years for our president or prime minister? Are we actively walking any path to change the laws and the economic system? Do we really want to change the world or it is just a fantasy we keep on telling ourselves and others to make us feel and look good?

"Far too many of the world’s richest and most peaceful countries are ignoring their global responsibility to provide assistance and protection," said secretary general of the Norwegian Refugee Council Jan Egeland, in a press statement responding to the UN's findings. "They are hiding behind closed borders"

"For an age of unprecedented mass displacement," Guterres continued, "we need an unprecedented humanitarian response and a renewed global commitment to tolerance and protection for people fleeing conflict and persecution."

So another call for my fellow humans - changing the world system is not going to happen unless we all come together, stepping out of our convenient ignorance into practical action.

We are the slaves of our Brain - Day 424

חייב-לקנות-עכשיו (צילום: Shutterstock)

Today I met a guy in town and we started talking about what I do in South Africa. I told him about LIG and what we as an international group are busy with. It was no surprise to me that he told me: "Good Luck - you are doing a very important work and I admire you - you must be strong against the challenges that you will face".

That is a common statement I hear from people that I speak with - they all see the importance of changing the economic and political structure of this world but I haven't yet faced a being that said to me - "it is my responsibility as a human being to stand for such change and do what is necessary to be done to manifest it".

When I came back home, I read an article about "consumerism psychology" where they explained how there is a part of our brain that is activated when we see something that we want or value. They call it the 'reward activation' but when we see the price of what we want/value, another part of the brain is activated, namely insula,  which interestingly enough, it is the part of the brain that is activated when people feel physical and emotional pain. In other words - it is painful to give something we care about even if we want it. In Consumerism psychology it is known that if the value of what we want is more than the value of what we have to give up (Money), then we will buy the product.

So within the context of seeing the importance of a global change that would give each and everyone of us the basic human right to live and within that, seeing the reward within having such system in place, when we think about what we on a personal level have to do to establish such change, the Insula activates in our brain where we unconsciously feel pain that restrain us from taking the responsibility of standing up for a change. Practically, it is when we step back and admire others walking towards a cause/change but we would decide to do nothing to help.

This shows that the decision to stand up for a worthwhile change in the economic and political systems, a change that would benefit everyone on all level of lives, is controlled by our brain without our awareness. It also explain why the resistance for a change on a physical level exits - it is preprogrammed mechanism installed in our brain that activates every time we require to make a decision that is not part of our comfort zone where we have to decide whether the value of our self interest is less or more than the value of that which is best for all.

So people - now that we understand the physiological design of decision making in relation to such important issue of worth while global change, we must investigate within ourselves who we are within the decision - are we able to step out of our preprogrammed physiological design where we are enslaved to our own brain, or whether we would change the pattern within ourselves and commit to investigate all things to keep that which will be best for everyone?

Why do we wait till it's too late? - Day 409

When someone close to you unexpectedly died, the thought: "but why now? There is so much more we could have done together" is popping up in one's mind.
When looking at the nature of the thought I saw a fascinating design -

How many moments we spend with each other and take it for granted; how many times we spend a moment with another but can't wait till the moment to end so we can go and do something else that may or may not give us more pleasure; How many times we are in the company of another but at the same time, judge them; how many times we have actually embarrass the moment we share with another, actually being 'here' with another, actually care and unconditionally were interested in the expression of the other?

We take the moments we have on this earth recklessly within the starting point of what would I gain from this moment, how can this moment play out in the best outcome for me? And then, when suddenly someone is dead, all of a sudden we feel sad, feel that we didn't spend enough time with that person, that we miss the person and we say to ourselves that if we had known this person is going to die, we would have done thing differently. But would we really?
Are we really walking moment by moment to its utmost potential? Are we really caring and cherishing each other? Do we really care about the person that had died or we care about what the person could have given us that we believe we cannot give to ourselves?

Why is it that we only wake up when it is too late; that we can only stand when another falls; that we can only change if something terrible is happening. Why can we not just change as a principle of What is best for all life?
As above as Below - the same principle persists not only when someone close to use dying, it is also our attitude towards this world/earth as a whole - Why are we waiting for the world to reach the point of no return when we know that when we reach that point it is absolute, is it like death, there is really no return.

It is time to do some house-check or mind-check, if you will, and unconditionally investigate what stops us from standing up by principle of that which is best for all life and practically change? What fears comes up, what thoughts comes up, what is it inside us through which we accept and allow the diminishment of ourselves and thus this world? Why do we live in constant regret upon the things that we could have done instead of simply correct, align and change that which needs to be changed?

So it is now the time to understand that regret is not valid; that regret doesn't make us good people; regret won't change the living conditions of us all; what is valid is a decision to STOP participating with our own self interest designs and to instead truly and self honestly question ourselves and this world so that we can individually and collectively make the decision to walk moment by moment as Life that is best for all, as a living expression of ourselves.

So, if you have made the decision to stop your process of diminishment and to instead walk your process to stand as a living expression as life that is best for all, check out the DIP Lite FREE online course and the Living Income Guaranteed and in that, supporting yourself and thus, us all.

Forgetting a child in the Car to Die Phenomena - Consumerized Vampires - Part 3 - Day 403

Please read the introduction to this blog before continuing reading this blog - http://mayaprocess.blogspot.com/2013/07/forgetting-child-in-car-to-die.html

So the question to ask is - is it really that there are more deaths of babies in a hot car as a result of the parents momentary "memory failure" or is it just that it has been more reported now while this destructive pattern had always remained the same? The answer to this question is unknown as there is no effective track record of these instances for some unexplained reason.
The Heatstroke Deaths of Children in Vehicles by the Department of Geosciences, San Francisco state university collected the media REPORTED heatstroke deaths and they have found:

Obviously, there is no way to cross reference this information and to be able to come to a conclusion whether or not this pattern is stable or not or whether the reported news are influenced by market hidden (corporational) forces - there is no way to tell as there is no governmental guideline that track this phenomena within the starting point of prevention is the best cure; but there is something very interesting that I have found when I asked what happened in 2010 where the reported heatstroke deaths were rapidly reported and the answer was found within the following article:

"Another reason for child fatalities inside vehicles may have something to do with laws that put children in the back seat to avoid airbags.
Numbers out of the U.S. show that heat stroke deaths for children left in cars have been dramatically on the rise since laws forced children to sit in the backseat to avoid high-powered airbags.
“As soon as that happened we saw these heat stroke deaths of children being forgotten in the car reach an all-time high, I mean they just blew up. It went from a couple a year to maybe 30 or 40 a year,” Rollins said.
“It has far surpassed the number of children being killed by airbags,” she added.
In 1997 there were 29 airbag related deaths in the U.S., and 11 children died in vehicles from heat stroke. In 2010 airbag deaths have all but been eliminated, but 49 children died inside cars from heat stroke"

Thus here is a fatal example of acts that are done within the Name of Prevention yet without proper tools to be able to make a fundamental assessment as to what would be the consequences of pacing the baby in the back sit of a car, the result achieve are far worse than what was intendant to be prevented. The reason is that the relationship between memory, physical body, and environmental influences were not taken into consideration, a proper research was not done and as a result the number of death doubled itself and till this day, the law was not adjusted/aligned. The real question is why wasn't the law adjusted? Who benefits from having enforced acts that are clearly do not support Life?

With the airbag and forcing the babies to sit on the back of the car scenario, the problem was the increase amount of car accidents people were (and still are) participating with and not as much the placement of a baby in the front or the back of the car. That is just an outflow of a problem we have accepted to be valid which is car accidents. Here, instead of understanding the core/source of the problem, which is the increasing car accidents all over the world and its relationship to the mind, the physical body and environmental influences (both individually and collectively), the solutions were diverted to a quick fix solution that would only benefit the corporation but in no way corrects and prevent car accident from reoccurring and life to be taken so lightly.

The same point exists within the scenario of heatstroke deaths caused by what the experts defined as "memory failure" of the parent wherein the solutions that are provided to "prevent" these problems are mostly in the benefit of the corporations who took a marketing advantage to promote their products (as was explained in the previous blog) as a solution for parents to not forget their children in the cars and yet, an absolute solution that would eliminate the problem, has not yet to been presented or even thoroughly investigated and accordingly the resources were diverted to places where profit can be made instead of to sources that would provide the support and guidance required to make sure that nothing and no one would ever be compromised due to dysfunctional memory system that leads to fatal consequences. Quite to the contrary - the justification to not move to a best for all solution is that there is not so many deaths to justify educational campaign where parents can be supported in taking responsibility over their automated memory structure and to instead become aware of their physical surrounding.

One thing is certain, we are existing in a consumerized vampires world where we would not miss a chance to make money out of a problem by diverting the resources, the time, the labour and the means to a solution that if anything, only worsening the problem instead of identify the source of the problem and preventing it from occurring within an ultimate solution that can in fact be trusted.

So, if you really serious about finding solutions that can practically work within this physical reality, I suggest to start investigating 3 points -
